Donald George Revie, OBE, (10 July 1927 - 26 May 1989), played for Leeds United from 1958 to 1962. He took over as manager in 1961, though, and it is as a manager he is revered by Leeds fans today.

His managering career was the most successful period in the club's history, and saw the club winning two league titles (1968-69, 1973-74), one FA Cup title (1972), one League Cup (1968), and the Fairs Cup (now known as the UEFA CUP) in 1968 and 1971. In Revie's time the club also ended up as runners-up in more competitions than bears thinking about.

Revie played for some lesser teams before joining Leeds as a player. After leaving the club in 1974, he also managed some smaller teams such as England.
