Escape Goat

An escape goat is an animal who allows the guilty to get away with their heinous crimes. The perpetrator of the misdeed uses one of these poor creatures as a disguise. He dons a woolly fleece, horns and an unbearable stench and mixes amongst innocent caprines, thereby melting into the crowd and making good his escape.
