The Flower Protest was a show of Love and Support for Leeds United through one of its darkest periods. Before the start of the 2007/08 season no one knew where the club was heading, or if indeed there would be a club at all.

It was WACCOE poster Ken Bates Love Child who came up with the idea to lay flowers and colours at the feet of the Bremner statue in a united show of support for the club Leeds United.

The Flower Protest gained local and national media attention plus support and donations from Leeds United fans all over the world.
